Hi y'all. We are eagerly awaiting the adoption of our new puppy. Now that the big decision of what breed, and then male vs female has been decided, we have many more questions and I'm so happy to have found this site. After much research, we finally decided on a goldendoodle, what a perfect fit for our family.
Our family consists of myself, working as an RN 3 days a week, my husband, retired and at home. Our boxer female 9 years old, our pug female 4 years old. Our boxer and pug are extemely attached to each other.
We decided a male would fit it well. Was this a good choice?
He is currently 6 weeks old and we'll be driving up to Canada in 2 weeks to pick him up. My daughter who lives up there, has went and done the pick (I fully trust her as she knows dogs well and what to look for).
A big question that I have is introduction to the boxer and pug. Any ideas to make this a happy transition?
